Biography
Background
Chiyona Indriya was born in Seoul, Korea and moved to Seattle when she was 5. She grew up enriching her life with piano and art and eventually got an Interdisciplinary Visual Arts degree from the University of Washington. Most of her life she was looking for something greater beyond the obvious physical form. She was raised Christian, was atheist for 5 years, then was studying spirituality during her 20’s where she explored many other practices such as Wicca, Tibetan Buddhism, and Taoism.
Discovering Lineage and Tradition
Chiyona was 28 when she was introduced to The Modern Mystery School by Osiris Indriya, her future husband and partner in service. In this tradition, all of the spiritual beliefs she resonated with and had gathered while she was exploring fit cohesively into a greater whole. She knew she found what she had been seeking her whole life. The classes, initiations, healings, rituals, and knowledge of this ancient metaphysical system of The Modern Mystery School (founded by Gudni Gudnason in 1997) opened up her life in ways you only dream of. Chiyona had been severely depressed most of her life. By applying the tools of this Lineage and tradition, suddenly she woke up and realized that depression was gone. She was living the life that she created and was seeing miracles every moment of all the days. Her depression was merely a symptom of not living the life she was meant to live. Once she had redirected her life to fulfilling her higher calling, the depressed emptiness had been replaced with the Joy of true Service in the Light.
Present and Future Service
Today, Chiyona is passionate about her life, her work in honoring and upholding the magick and tradition of the Modern Mystery School lineage. She provides these services full-time. She teaches classes for empowerment and initiation into this lineage of the brotherhood and sisterhood of light, offering healings, activations and clearings to help individuals shed away that which blocks them, and specializes in exorcism work of persons and spaces. Chiyona offers personal consultations to see what would serve that individual in their unique experience of life.
